WEATHER IN COSTA RICA
The dry season at the northwest pacific beaches is December - May. The drier season at La Carolina Lodge is March - November, but still expect some rain. The "wet season" is when to expect more rain, and typically runs December - end of February.
La Carolina Lodge is at an elevation of 1800 ft. and is usually a comfortable 21-27 °C (70-80 °F) during the dry months, sunny and warm, with very occasional showers. During our green season, you can expect
a mix of sun and rain and slightly cooler conditions.
CLOTHING RECOMMENDATIONS
In our are the temperature can vary from hour to hour, day by day. Especially at night it can be nice and cool so we recommend bringing the following clothes:
- Long pants
- Long sleeve shirts
- Shorts
- T-shirts
- Swim suits
- Hiking boots
- Rain gear
